Learn Fencing Today
Fencing is one of the worlds oldest sports and has a long and interesting history. Maybe you've always fancied yourself as an expert sword fighter like in the movies or you just want try something new and challenging… if so, then fencing could be for you. The sport is amazing for all-round exercise and fitness, various muscle toning, building core body strength, hand-to-eye co-ordination and good balance. When fencing, you will need to make lightning-fast decisions, so it is also excellent for concentration and focus. Anybody including people of all ages can compete in the sport, there have been many athletes who have been much older or younger than many others, for example at the Olympics, Sophie Lamon of Switzerland won silver in the women's epee team at the 2000 Games when aged just 15, and Austrian athlete Karl Munich competed at the 1912 Games at the age of 64, admittedly some time ago but still possible today! Whatever your age or ability, Invicta has something for you.
